CAMPUS
ERPSOFT has its Campus at Block 4-B, F-7 Markez, Jinnah Super Market, Islamabad. This place is known as the heart of Two Cities. A regular transport service is ever available and makes the campus accessible from every part of the city within 20 to 30 minutes. The bus stops are quite close to the center and a traveler to any part of the city does not have to wait for more than a few minutes for conveyance. The campus is equipped with all facilities necessary for the courses of Business Administration and Computer Sciences. The campus is furnished and equipped with all the pedagogical requirements of the Institute. The building consists of class- room, administrative and faculty offices, computer laboratories, library, seminar hall and cafeteria.

COMPUTER SECTION
We provide unique advantage to our students and faculty for research, internship and environmental learning. The campus has over 40- workstations and several services in its labs running latest operating systems, software packages, free Internet facilities, applications and services in a network environment. We have aggressively embarked on a plan to install SAP R/3 system, JAVA Scripting, ORACLE Developer 2000, suit of tools, Visual-programming environments, 3D studio Max, Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effect, Adobe Photoshop, Character studio, Sound Techniques, Incite, Combustion, Special effects, Magic effects, Flash, Macromedia Freehand, Dream weaver, Window 2000 server. Servers at these labs run operating systems like UNIX, Windows NT and NOVELL Netware. They offer access to modern visual programming environments.

LIBRARY
Reading, Conferencing and writing are the basis of learning. ERPSOFT has a worth and proud claim to have been able to contribute to fulfillment of these triangular requirements of the business and computer students through the agency of its well-equipped library both in terms of collection and atmosphere. The air-conditioned building provides a calm and quite learning environment. The library at present has a collection of books on Computer, Journalism, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, Public Administration, Literature and History. Apart from it, national and international journals and newspapers are available in the library.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND OVERSEAS STUDY COUNCILING
The ERPSOFT places great deal of emphasis on the placement of graduates. Career counseling is provided throughout the time the student is enrolled at the Institute and every effort is made to help the student to select most appropriate fields of study for his or her future career and to develop his or her personal and professional skills to the maximum extent possible. This ensures that upon graduation the student is not only equipped with necessary skills but also feels confident to enter the real world of modern business, industry or government. The individual development of each student at this Institute enhances the job potential of our graduates. The students are appropriately advised on how to conduct the job search, locate potential employers, and secure an interview and how to prepare for a successful winning presentation at a job interview. A placement office has been set up in the institute. This office provides variety of services to the successful postgraduate in job searching process. Members of Board of Governors and faculty are also active in planning the placement. ERPSOFT maintains a very close relationship with national/international bodies. This helps the graduates in self-assessment and clarification of objectives. It becomes easy to search job in keeping with the clarified objectives. A limited number of teaching assistantship is also available for post-graduate students. INTERNSHIP AND PROJECT
Students from departments of Computer Sciences and Business Administration, after completion of the third semester are required to under go 6 to 8 week’s internship in Business Organization. Upon completion of their internship, the students are required to submit reports. Students from computer sciences department are required to join a software house or Information technology organization where they are to work upon new applications and after completion of the project they are required to submit comprehensive reports on that project.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

The students are required to comply with the rules notified by the Institute. Any breach of the following instructions renders the student(s) liable to strict disciplinary action such as fine or expulsion from the institute.

The rules are as follows

  1. A student is allowed a maximum of 6 absentees in a course. The provision of absence is for emergencies, such as late coming or sickness during a semester. They cannot be used on examination days. It is a serious offence and a very serious view is taken for absence on examination days.
  2. Absence fine of Rs. 5/- per period or Rs. 10/- per day will be imposed. A student coming late in the classroom will be marked absent.
  3. Fees/Funds once paid will not be refunded for any reason whatsoever.
  4. Each installments of fee should be paid within twenty days of display of notice at institute main notice board. Institute takes no responsibility to personally inform each student. A fine of Rs. 20/- per day (including the paying day) is charged on payment after the due date.
  5. The students are not allowed to collect funds for any purpose whatsoever without permission or Principal.
  6. Any student misbehaving in the classroom/institute shall at once be reported to the Principal by the teacher. The Principal will take such action, as he/she may deem proper. The teacher can recommend penalty also.
  7. Students are not allowed either to see visitors during college hours or receive telephone calls except in an emergency.
  8. Without prior permission from the Principal, no student is allowed to paste, exhibit, prepare or distribute any poster, leaflet, notice, pamphlet or handbill in the Institute premises.
  9. Any political or immoral activity is strictly prohibited in and around the institute premises.
  10. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the institute premises.
  11. Students will not be allowed to change section without the permission of the Principal.
  12. A student desirous of having an interview with the Principal must do so individually.
  13. The decision of the Principal shall in all cases be final.
  14. In case of disciplinary action against a guilty student, resulting in his/her suspension from the Institute, he/she shall not be liable for any consequential, financial or academic compensation.
  15. The institute reserves the right to suspend or dismiss a student for violation of its policies and regulations or for conduct injurious to the best interest of the institute.
  16. The institute reserves the right to change any rule and regulation pertaining to academic programs, curricula, tuition and other charges or evaluation criteria.
  17. The institute does not assume any liability for any failure or delay in the performance due to causes beyond their control such as fire, natural disasters, power failure, riots, political unrest, acts of public authorities etc.

Any infringement of these rules will render a student liable to strict disciplinary action that may lead to imposition of fines and temporary or permanent expulsion from the institute.

ADMISSIONS

Students are admitted in the Spring Semester starting in March/April and Fall Semester starting in September/October every year. All admissions are provisional and are subject to the final approval by the Principal. Admissions are entirely on merit. The institute may refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason. Foreign national student must submit an NOC from the Ministry of Education, Government of Punjab at the time of applying for admission, without which their applications will not be considered. Students who have been granted admission by ERPSOFT have to submit the following to complete the registration and enrollment formalities. Three attested photocopies of original documents showing qualifications.

  • One character certificates signed by the head of the last educational institution attended.
  • Four copies of recent passport size photographs.
  • Migration / No objection Certificate, if the last examination is passed from board / University.

ACADEMIC CALENDAR AND INSTITUTE TIMINGS
The academic year, which is of 12 months duration starts in March/April and is divided into two semesters namely spring and fall, each semester is of 16 weeks duration. ERPSOFT has two separate sessions Morning Session and Evening Sessions. Regular teaching classes run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. throughout the week except Sunday. In some cases Sunday is not closed day.
